Windows 10 blue screen of death Project 64

Post by Stormtrooper934 »

When I try to play any game on Project 64, including Rayman 2, my PC gets a blue screen. This started to happen when I got windows 10 for my computer. I've tried uninstalling it, and reinstalling it with no luck. Is there any solution to this? :(

There's usually an error message on the BSOD, can you see one?

It just says windows has encountered a problem and needs to restart.

Most likely has to do with your graphics drivers, try updating them.

Also, try BizHawk instead of Project64, it's more frequently updated and just better in general.

There has been a long lasting bug in PJ64 leading to BSODs in Windows 10. I think they fixed it in recent development builds, so you should try those.

How do I add the audio plugin, since it didn't come with it?
