It should definitely disable the feature that way, since that literally disables the driver (and basically the hardware) from working in Windows itself.
Maybe because people like < can help people without forcing them to reach for their wallet.
< just wishes that Windows 7 would work properly on <'s computer considering that 10 is well, 10! < could use Windows 8 aside from that stupid forced message about "unsupported hardware".
< has done exactly as ^ said to disable the touch screen feature for the Windows 10 desktop. < waited a few minutes to expect things and there seems to be no "unwanted effects" stirring things up.

Oorayhay!
As < said though, < personally sees no use for a touch screen on a laptop and thinks it's more of a selling point, by making it more "tablet like". < would recommend that if someone wants a touchscreen device, to just buy a tablet instead of a laptop.
< has never heard good things about those laptops and while <'s laptop does have a port on the motherboard for connecting a touchscreen, <'s laptop just has a normal screen.

Which was how <‘s dad got a touchscreen Win8 laptop (which is what < is currently using for the moment.
< is used to using a mouse <self, so the touchscreen doesn’t get too much use unless < is playing a DS/3DS emulator or some kind of time management game, and even when <‘s dad uses it at time, he NEVER uses the touchscreen. What a waste.
Life happens. Just gotta roll with it!

^ reminds me of mixing up directions and breaking the forum.
< is thinking about sharing <'s best time trial records from Mario Kart Wii via Dolphin right here. (If anyone who has the game would be interested enough to even beat them)

< wouldn't buy into it, < would rather a better CPU, GPU, or just better hardware in general over a touchscreen.
< still never really played much of MK Wii. <'s brother used to play it a lot and < remembers playing a little bit of it, but < hasn't played it lately. < does recall telling ^ that < would play it on more than one occasion, yet < still hasn't played.
<'s got to finish about 3 courseworks over the weekend, <'s going to be so bogged down with work
It's actually not that much, but it seems so daunting before < starts.

Cheers! It was made on my Game Boy after all
Although admittedly I did a bit of post processing to add some bass since the Game Boy only has 4 audio channels...
< has always liked 8-bit music and sound effects, < just thinks they sound really cool for some reason. < is one of those people that appreciates the 8-bit music and sharp pixels of a retro game.
< is still amazed about LSDJ and < still wants to get a Game Boy along with a flash cart.
They're a little bit more expensive than < expected, unless < buys one with lines on the screen and finds a replacement LCD or something.
Aye. You can always just use an emulator but that's nowhere near as fun And paired with <'s variable clock mod you can make some crazy sounds.
<'s re-watching one of <'s favourite anime, Baccano. < forgot how good it was!
Nice! If ^ has learned anything about < since < joined here, ^ will know that < loves modding consoles, and of course an emulator is no fun.
< has been playing Rayman 1 on Saturn the past couple of hours. The Saturn needs a new laser and kept freezing on the intro screen, but < just kept resetting it until the game booted and it's been working for hours.
< rolls with emulators that < can find. ROMS and ISOs for certain ones are difficult to find. Nonetheless, it is better for < than just standing there looking at things that < could probably never afford.
Tomorrow is a special day for < and < had already made a signature about it.

< has different standards when it comes to retro consoles vs emulators since < already went through the effort of buying them all over the years, while also being really fussy. Dolphin is actually good in a few ways.
At the same time, it was more of a joke, since < would rather modify a Game Boy than use the emulator.
In certain cases it does annoy < though, such as the PS1 Classic using emulation at that price point.

< wonders how many Tings < should take.
< really likes your tune. < thinks it sounds vaguely familiar, but is not sure why…
< really likes how 8-bit Ambi's tune sounded, really nice work there!
On the subject of emulators vs consoles, < prefers to use real hardware, though because < still lacks the money < needs to get everything < wants to have (and there's a lot), < has to just stick with emulators for now. Not my favourite way to play and they're not the best, but at least they're not downright horrible (that input lag though.... ).

As < think < has stated before, < wishes to see how < stacks up against ^ in MKWii, so < would be curious about them.

< would say they're far better than nothing, and some are actually very accurate. It's the input lag that gets < the majority of times, though many others probably aren't as susceptible to the lag as < would be. People can adjust if they play it the same way for so many years.
< also just prefers the authenticity of having the real console, real cart/disc, and the real controller.
