Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
I've gotten faster since the last time I did this, last i checked I was 83 wpm.

Steo said that he was making effort in making himself good at (touch) typing, didn't he?
I would love to know his WPM.
You are probably better than me.

Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
I will probably give the test another go later since I hadnt' tested lately.
Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
I haven't tried a test in a while but probably about 60.
Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
I just beat my record of merely 42 wpm and got 83 wpm.
Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
On average I type about 65-70 wpm, but I'm getting faster. That's just in general though, not by doing tests. It's different when you know what you're typing off the top of your head instead of reading what you're trying to type, and it's best if the tests are randomly generated if you're going to use them.
Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
I got 120wpm (3 mistakes) on TypingTest.com

EDIT: I took a 5-minute test and got 108wpm: https://www.typingtest.com/result.html? ... ltText.txt

Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
I'm not sure if mine has changed much, but I definitely make less mistakes than I used to. I guess sometimes I'm faster if I know what I'm going to type, but there are times where some words are harder to type, then of course there's the error where you type two letters in the wrong order.

I went with easy te t on the same website with my current computer and I only 78 wpm. Though in my defense one button isn't working and I had two words that used the letter so I'll try again on a different laptop and come back with the results.

Doing a typing test with an anti-Elon-charmed keyboard? I admire your courage!
Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
I took the test a few times again and my average is around ~100wpm.

Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
That's still much faster than mine is, pretty neat. I'll try the test a few times on mom's laptop instead later since she has all her buttons working.
Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
I think mine are roughly around the 70-80 mark. I haven't tested it in a while but people seem to think I type fast. Issue is I sometimes make mistakes and have to spam backspace.
Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
Hahaha, I admit I’m the same.

I would like to be able to make less mistakes, but that becomes more difficult due to several reasons, including keyboard differences etc.

Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
Same, my key issue is that I go too fast and then when I make a mistake I skip and move on. I guess that would be more an accuracy issue than speed issue..

Now I'm at 83 wpm! Wooooo..I noticed when doing this though there are other types of typing tests/practices, so might try those out when I have free time and feellike doing them. The Jonster wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 5:39 am Wow I just noticed that but you're faster than I am in fact.

Re: What's your WPM (Words Per Minute)?
I retook the test and 120wpm seems to be my average.
