About the new skip on the fourth screen:

It saves around 40 seconds and has been discovered by SuperSqank who created a new TAS for the game which has been published today.

- Do a full jump to the left just before walking off the cloud when it's at its highest point
- At the peak of your jump, hover and tap right (You can hover before tapping right. You can also tap right before starting to hover.)
- Cancel your hover a bit after by tapping the button, don't hold it
- Press select to enter the menu screen that has resume at the top (You must have stopped holding jump to cancel your hover before pressing select or else the buffer won't work.)
- Hold jump (This should resume the game and buffer the glitched double jump.)

You have a 4 frame window to do the double jump. It's not necessary to do the buffer but it might make things easier for you.

Two more personal tips from me because I struggled a lot with the strat at first:

1. Try to focus on starting your hover at the peak of your jump rather than holding right first. Starting out, I didn't realise you could hover before tapping right. Doing the hover first buys you more time and made things much easier for me.
2. Then focus onto tapping jump to cancel the hover so quickly that you let go before hitting select right after.
