Rayman Legends graphical issue
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
I looked everywhere for a solution, but the only site that talked about this was the intel community site and even that went nowhere...

Re: Rayman Legends graphical issue
If you're on a laptop, try forcing the game to run on your dedicated GPU instead of the integrated Intel one (can usually be done in the Settings app under graphics settings)

Re: Rayman Legends graphical issue
Won't work for me as the Intel UHD GPU seems to be the only option..
Re: Rayman Legends graphical issue
If you don't have a dedicated graphics card I think you might be out of options for this particular laptop
I found this issue myself only weeks ago while testing my mod, but thought it only happened for small uncompressed textures. For example, here I replaced the main lighting texture with an uncompressed one, resulting in a very similar effect:

I found the reason for this issue too; it's a bug in the code that loads textures into memory (also present in Rayman Origins PC), an assumption that the developers made that will sometimes be incorrect depending on the graphics card & driver. I'm not 100% sure if the issue you're having is exactly the same as the one I found, but I'll try to make a patch.
Can I ask you where you bought the game? Just so I know which version to prioritize for the fix.

Re: Rayman Legends graphical issue
Mine's the Steam version.
Re: Rayman Legends graphical issue
Thanks
You'll need to extract the contents of graphics_fix.zip into your Rayman Legends directory.
So dinput8.dll should be in the same folder as Rayman Legends.exe, and plugins/ should be a subdirectory of that.
I'm really hoping this will work, so please let me know when you've tested it!

If it's there, then I have no idea what the issue is...
I made the plugin for both the Uplay/Ubisoft Connect and Steam versions, it should work on both equally. It's been tested to work for the issues I had with the Steam version too, so I don't think installing the Uplay version instead will help for you either. :/

Yep, it is there... i have no idea what to do now other then calling Rayman Legends a lost cause at this point...
Re: Rayman Legends graphical issue
Installing a different (newer/older) GPU driver or fiddling around with the driver settings might help...
I played RL on a Intel UHD-only laptop, and while it had some issues with slowness at times, I didn't experience these glitches.

Re: Rayman Legends graphical issue
Out of curiosity i tried testing out Rayman Origins and was shocked to discover it was fine.
For some reason despite being on the same engine the problem is only present in Rayman Legends.
I would like to know if you guys are aware of any video/website that talks about a similiar issue i am having, i said it before that i tried to find some sources but had no luck but i want to be sure if it may be that i wasn't looking hard enough...

Re: Rayman Legends graphical issue
I've been having the exact same problem for a couple of hours now, trying to fix it.
The only thing I've been able to do is keep the flickering to a minimum.
I set the screen resolution to 1600 x 900 in windowed mode.
