Of course not, but I do feel a slight level of bemusement when I see terms like "effin," at that point it come across as less not swearing and more a juvenile workaround than a means to not swear in the first place. Though I suppose I am one of the rickety people that has a chip on their shoulder about how everyone now says "ahhh" instead of "ass." So make of that what you will.
In that specific case I was more wanting to reference the *EFF!* sound replacing Marik/Melvin and Dartz's cursing in Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged (which is a gag based on another series which name I can't remember), but that wasn't easy to make it work in text and would have been confusing when everything is already capitalized so I lazily changed it to "effin'".
A lot of people built up the habit of using those substitutes as most big websites now will outright block/hide their comment or penalize their content if they detect any swearing or other "naughty" word (like "death", thus the whole "unalive" thing, which at least brings its fair share of ironic humour

). Now you even get a popup telling you "are you sure you want to post this?" (or something of that effect as I only use the site in French) if your YT comment has any "rude" word in it, and then you can be almost sure no one will see it unless the YouTuber turned off all filtering settings on their channel...
And the resulting problem that ensues, is like how we treat blood and a lot of other content now censored since the past decade: the less people get used to seeing these "taboo" things and the more they will be shocked by them when they do happen, sometimes even vilifying anyone using or endorsing the use of said ""taboos""...
Once again, we can all thank the influence of out of touch corporations and medias for that...
It's a rant, maybe it's cause I grew up in the era of the internet with personalities like AVGN, but I find there's a greater punchiness to letting the odd cuss word come in
But you do you, I'm mostly just commenting on the fact that people sometimes try and workaround out of a missplaced sense of propriety, instead of just taking the opportunity to be authentic, I guess.
I did forge a lot of my English cursing from figures like the AVGN over the years (and I also grew up with the likes of Joueur du Grenier, his French equivalent who isn't any less crude especially as he is from southern France... the native place of ~90% of my family members where they shaped their very "frank" language, putaingue.

), I even just marathoned his Castlevania and Halloween videos!
["THIS GAME SUCKS."]
In fact, one of my old -and most milk-expired- game reviews
(on one of EA's biggest crimes
) had most of its angry bits being a complete homage to his expressions and toilet humor!
But as I felt it ended up unoriginal and I also got very tired of regurgitating swear words over and over again which I absorbed from the Internet since my edgy late teenage years, I moved away from doing these sorts of things to work on my own subtler style... and as a stuck-up old-fashioned writer
en devenir, I firmly believe in the virtues of finesse and execution.

(but I'm not pretending to be actually good at any of it
)
Sadly even AVGN can't be as authentic with his iconic vulgarity anymore, but regardless, I love how he still manages
to make some perfectly good rants even without any cursing!
...Anyway, I think we're straying too far from the rumors about Ubi's GODDAMN FUCKING PIECE OF DOGSHIT BULLCRAP DECISIONS by sparking a disgression from why Mortamon Saturn, 27 years old knob and posh twat used to polluting this forum since the past ~8 years with his verbosity and trash UbiArt takes, hasn't said the MOTHERFUCKIN' "F-word to FUCKING drive home the FUCKING POINT" in his stupid overreaction about a DAMN 4th Chaos Emerald? SON OF BITCHIN' game franchise originally intended for 3 years old and above.
"
This is my Rayman huge features mowing and you won't intrude with your thoughts and your opinions about HOW MY RAYMAN SHOULD BE MOWED-"
...
Weather was nice today
But then again, I would prefer for them to treat the entire UbiArt era like some kind of a dream and start right back from Rayman 3. But now this is just me dreaming.
Oh, would I love to see this!
Personally, I really don't blame him. Every time there's rumors of a remake, seems like Ubisoft - or most companies for that matter - they usually miss the marks of what made the game good in the first place. Took a few games off my Steam wishlist for that reason recently.
This indeed...
(AND I'LL NEVER FORGIVE NINTENDON'T FOR MAJORA'S MASK 3D! I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR STUPID SHITTY FISHING PONDS WITH CRYPTIC BULLSHIT TO 100%, STAY TRUE TO THE BLOODY ORIGINAL GAME'S VISION FOR HYLIA'S SAKE, NO ONE ASKED TO BUTCHER THE GAMEPLAY OF THE TRANSFORMATIONS AND ICE ARROWS! GIVE US BACK THE OLD BOSSES INSTEAD OF SHOVING GIANT EYES INTO EVERY CONCEIVABLE ORIFICE, AND DON'T FIX WHAT AIN'T FUCKING BROKE GODDAMMIT!!)
And in Lazysoft's case, I sure felt a taste of that
so many times with all of the imperfections in their cash grab ports, and the whole UbiArt era started by a certain game about """going back to the Origins""".
("WE MADE IT 2D SO IT'S TOTALLY LIKE THE FIRST RAYMAN, JUST IGNORE ALL OF THE RETCONS, THE COMPLETELY UNRELATED GAMEPLAY AND THE BIMBOFIED BETILLA IN THE CORNER!")
So, to conclude this
Ramen Lergends Ultra Giga Deathinitive Warmastered Mode™ rant for the meanwhile...
(And folks, don't forget the holy word of Super Mecha Death Christ 2000 B.C. Version 4.0 Beta:
"WATCH YOUR FUCKING LANGUAGE!"
)
And live like a windrammer as you fuck.
