Hey there, GubGubCat here (I don't know how to respond to a specific post so oh well hope y'all will notice it.
I am trying to reply to Mortamon Saturn)
The thing is, before Goshion, the contributor, made an article on Rayfanpedia,
the game was "silently developed", without any promotion. I tried my best to edit Goshion's main article and some other bits here and there to be as quality as I could make them, without revealing too much stuff that is still in question whether it will be ingame. I also put 48 gameplay screenshots of the game itself on the main article, so I think this is enough to consider the game "non-speculative". If this would still be not enough, I can either directly contact with you, showing some parts of the game's code (if that's needed), or I can publish some video footage of the gameplay aswell, alongside some concept art. Also,
there is currently (as of today, June 27th) no other website/platform with the game unfortunately, since that was planned for far later before Goshion started "promoting" our work.
I will try my best to prove that this project is indeed in active development. If this won't work, then we might try something else
Hello, thanks a lot for your response! I had seen your name as one of the developpers, so I was hoping to find a way to contact you soon!
(By the way, don't worry for the response, everyone who posted in the topic or subscribed to it will be notified of what you said. Though, you can alternatively use the quotation mark symbol [ “ ] in the top-right of anyone's post to directly quote and respond to their message
)
Well, that does explain that whole matter! I guess Goshion got a bit too carried away talking about the game even before the right time!
Thank you for adding these many screenshots, this is a fantastic amount! In my eyes, this is definitely quite enough to prove the project's non-speculative nature!
Of course there will still be work to do on the newly added and edited articles over time (I've already just done a few small edits so it can look presentable), but I think we can now safely say the Fanon prefix
won't be needed.
Anyway, don't feel pressured to add anything now if you don't want to, we don't want to rush you or to force your hand. This should be good enough to prove the tangibility of the project on Rayfanpedia for the meanwhile.
If you have any questions about the wiki, feel free to ask me, Hunchman801 or dr_st, and we can also help you if you want us to do anything about the visibility of the articles in case you'd really rather keep the game in silent/private development for now!
The warning was mostly issued so Goshion / GAMEplayer012 can learn from their mistakes (tho don't know if you guys are just the same person with two different profiles as I saw the Goshion personal article was made with the latter's account), and so more members of the community could also be aware of the rules.
Also it seems some of this situation and a few of the issues I reported may have arose due to language barrier, so I perfectly understand any mistakes happening.
If you have any difficulties with English, we'll also help improving your texts on Rayfanpedia, no problem with that!

Excuse me... There is a question.
We are already working on the above-mentioned conditions.
Only... How can we make the game famous? Rayman Alive is only in September (or December?), and the game will be released even earlier. Is there any way to get famous before Alive? (Although we will try to get there as well)
Don't worry too much about the notability for now, we mostly set that rule to reduce any chances of Rayfanpedia becoming a wild jungle of random contents. And to be perfectly honest, these rules still aren't an exact science as we haven't had enough contributors yet to really set them in stone...
Now that the ship has already sailed anyway, what mostly matters is to expand the already existing documentation on the game-...
That is, of course, only if GubGubCat is willing to share more now!
(As for achieving notability, it will come naturally over time as more is shared around the project here or any other places... Though, again, that should only be done once everyone behind this game is OK with sharing on it publically!
Btw, there's also no telling if Rayman Alive will even reoccur this year, so don't concern yourself with it unless vnheard announces its return, in which case you should be able to contact him and get a trailer for the game featured in the event should you want to.
But even then, Rayman Alive is not mandatory at all to achieve a decent amount of visibility around your project, even if that's what has helped the most until now).
Anyway, no matter what ends up being decided about your Rayfanpedia contributions until the game is finished or announced to a wider audience, it can always be easily reverted in the future and nothing will ever be lost.
All of this aside, as a Rayman 1 enthusiast, seeing these screenshots and ideas makes me pretty excited about this game!
Good luck for the rest of the work on the project, this is definitely promising!
