Not just that but the YouTube descriptions too, where I specifically stated that he got these powers from the 1,000 Yellow Lums/Heart of the World!

This is what happens when he absorbs the 1000 Lums! Well, it was already the concept for ‘Super Rayman’, but you could say it’s just the 800 Lums from some of the game’s releases and adaptations here. 
So, both forms still exist and are pretty much the same, although the golden one is basically a weaker version (think of the ‘Pseudo Super Saiyan’ from Dragon Ball Z).
So, I guess if I could add to the pile of ideas, it would be how Rayman would have weaker powers and a less luminous appearance with less Lums, but your concept of like 250 Lums powering up a body part was already great!
Also to continue with the Super Sonic
plagiarism inspiration, I guess the UbiArt Lums could act like the Rings, with Rayman losing control of the super state and detransforming when he runs out!

My brother in Polokus, ReDesigner is a standalone level editor for Redemption, the Great Protoon invincibility literally still is entirely by Ryemanni!
(And I only applied this concept to the "Hyper Rayman" form, which is just me headcannoning that "rainbow" invincible form from Redemption/ReDesigner into Rayman's equivalent of
Hyper Sonic
