Re: FIFA World Cup 2026
Polymarket has France at 19%, Argentina at 15%, Spain at 14% and England at 13%. Anything can happen, I guess.
Re: FIFA World Cup 2026
Soccer doesn't belong in America.
Give it back, thieves!!!

Re: FIFA World Cup 2026
Wait, don't you play American football in Europe?

Re: FIFA World Cup 2026
That's a very good point.
Re: FIFA World Cup 2026
Looking at our performances on the field, I'd be a goddamn hypocrit if I said American football belonged in Europe though

Re: FIFA World Cup 2026
Here's something interesting: I Could've Rickrolled the Entire FIFA World Cup. All I Needed Was My ID.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2026
A rickroll would have been fun, and probably well deserved given the level of amateurism here.
Re: FIFA World Cup 2026
Eh as long as Argentina doesn't win I'm happy. Call me a sore loser but I'm part of the camp that says Argentina either got lucky with a corrupt ref or they committed matchfixing.
I guess it'd be fun seeing Brazil win again after its 7-1 disaster against Germany in 2014, that game did a lot of emotional damage so I I guess I'd like them to be as celebrated as they used to be.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2026
This year, I see France as the clear favorite. They play well, and they know how to break through when the situation calls for it. They have a very well-rounded team in every position, but above all, they have pure, raw firepower up front. Honestly, things would have to go very badly for them not to win their third World Cup. The only teams that might be able to go head-to-head with them are Brazil and Argentina.
Am I the only one who thinks the idea of teams qualifying even if they were P3 is total crap?

I agree and I'd also like to add, and amend what I said before, that I'd also like to see Morocco win and I think they have a real chance of winning as well.DaveRattlehead wrote: Tue Jun 30, 2026 11:45 pm This year, I see France as the clear favorite.
