Greetings, everyone!
So, I recently discovered that a Brazilian community has created a language patch for the Sega Dreamcast version of Rayman 2, which means that it's possible to translate this game's version in other languages. However, I can't seem to find a way to contact them to understand how was their whole process.
I would like to give a shot in creating an European Portuguese translation considering that I had done this for the PC version (which saves me time in most of the script lines that have to be translated, having to give more attention to the Dreamcast menu and the Globox Village related lines); and because SEGA had a very strong presence in Portugal during the 90s, there's a lot of fans and collectors of the brand.
I need technical advice because right now I have an issue: research tells me that most of the translation work I have to do is graphic, because the game's lines are actually "hidden" in texture files. I believe that they're in the FIX.TEX file, but I don't know how to extract this in order to see if it's exactly what I need to give the next steps.
Any help with suggestions and tips is appreciated!

It seems like the installer repacks the content of extracted ISO, so the translation files are probably somewhere in the installer files which might reside in your temp location after the installer is opened (but opening the installer in some sandbox registering all the changes to the system files will do the trick too). If you were able to edit those extracted files in the middle, and then proceed with the repacking process and choosing extracted ISO location in the installer, then maybe it will repack existing game files instead of just replacing it, esp. if it's not just one small file, but rather requires repacking one big data file. Can't tell how big can be that fix.tex to tell. The installer is small, so maybe it just replaces a few small files or just the one, and we won't figure it out.
The contact with the group might be not easy, indeed. The translation derives from 2013. Archive.org doesn't have any correct version of their website, and googling "Sergio-F brazilian-warriors.com.br" doesn't give me any interesting results besides other translations and this doc:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1j_T ... it?tab=t.0
It cointains group of people cooperating with eachother inside the group, so maybe you could search further for their nicknames.

I don't even know what to do with the patch itself, I'm frankly honest. I'm trying to contact a different Brazilian romhacking community that's involved in translations, perhaps they can give me some tips as well.
