Record Day #21 – help us pick a date!

Hello all! Pirate-Community is organizing its twenty-first edition of the posts in a day record. For those who aren't familiar with the rules, this is how it works:

The goal is not only to break a new record every year or bring more activity to the forums, but also to shuffle our topics in order to bring new discussions for the following year.

This is not a spam contest, and useless messages are obviously not welcome. However, the special conditions during the record day will be the cause of a certain leniency, especially as concerns old topics, which can be bumped freely.

The current record stands at an insane 32252 posts. Can we do better this year? That's up to you!

The rewards rise to the occasion: each post is worth 15 Tings within the given time span, and then come the bonus Tings: 1500 for participating, 1500 for beating one's previous posts in a day record, and 3000 Tings for the winner. For example, some time ago someone earned the incredible amount of 84690 Tings that day.

As usual, we're planning on having it on a Saturday during the early autumn, more specifically from 23:00 UTC on the Friday night to 23:00 UTC the following day (midnight to midnight French time). We're thinking of an August-to-September date range, so please vote in the poll above to let us know when you will be available!

So Record Day is us just posting things? Or do we break records of sorts? I've never participated in Record Day, sadly, but I want to!

Basically it's an event we all get together to post as much as we can within a 24-hour timeframe, of course no spam messages or anything too short. Just a fun event we host annually that allows you to break even your own personal record and earn more Tings than you normally would.

I will note I will not be available on the weekend of the 22nd of August since my cousin will be visiting, and August 1st, while I can be around for, I'm still reserving that for a friend's birthday celebration in Splatoon 2 for part of the day.

I don't think I'll be available on August 22nd, but any dates before then should be good for me!

It does seem like one particular date takes precedent. The fact that it's an off day in the judeo-christian world helps, I think.

I just picked it since Reese is free then and another day just in case.

I had actually forgotten it's the Assumption We don't get a day off for that here though
