In the French version, Globox gets drunk with fermented plum juice. I can recall spiral saying plums had hallucinogenic properties, which means the game was probably censored in the English version, because none of this stuff is mentioned in the French one.

Actually, plums' hallucinogenic properties aren't mentioned within the game, as such; if you lock on to a plum and press the freeze/picture-taking button while doing so, then press the grimace button twice, you see info about plums, saying they are "a rare and hallucinogenic fruit - don't pass one by without giving it a nibble", or something like that. This works for most enemies.
