Rayman: The Animated Series
I have a feeling this will not be a very popular topic. O_e But I just think RPC needs one, so, this is for all RTAS related discussions. :3

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
Wow you are obsessed with this, no offence.
It COULD have been better. Billy West could have done a much better job at the acting. The writing could have done without the Hollywood formula. It was such a shame it got shitcanned like a third or the way through but in retrospect they may have done the right thing. Personally I would so prefer a 2D cartoon, I mean I don't have good 3D stuff but I just like 2D better.
Don't mind me, I'm still butthurt from the fact that since I read like a tiny article about it in the Sun, I was waiting ages for it to air on some channel, and then coming to realise that it would never air at all at least here. I only found that there was a DVD a couple years before I found one that I could buy on eBay. Only for it to not be as fantastic as I hoped it'd be.

No. I'm not. I just thought RPC needed one of these.
You have not seen me be obsessed with something. XD I take obsession to a whole new level.
Moving on.
Yeah I didn't really like Billy West as Rayman either. Not to mention the fact that like 90% of the Youtube video comments are like "OMG ITS THAT GUY FROM FURTURAMA" Yes we know.
American/Australian/Insert Country Here accents don't suit Rayman at all. :-(
Also someone please explain to me how Rayman is a Powerpuff Girl O_e

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
How come you make like 100s of comments on all 8 parts then?
Ugh yes I want to punch them all. I don't even like Futurama that much. Also Windows movie maker text =/= episode, I just didn't want to tell it in her face.

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
The fact that you have Kitty and the number 11 in your YT name gave it away. ;P

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
I thought the series was alright, I'm still sore over the cast change though. Billy West is probably my 1# favorite voice actor to ever exist, so I kinda liked Rayman's voice (don't ban me). I did appreciate the use of Rayman's powers in episode 2, and those purple birds that cameo in (I think) High Anxiety?

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
They only appear for a split second at the beginning of one of the scenes. I think it was High Anxiety, but it could've been No Parking.

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
I don't know about purple birds but I remember seeing something with Tonic Trouble in the first episode, when Rayman "stole" the car. I'll look for it later when I can (be bothered lol)

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
Yeah, that was the jack-in-the boxes. There was also a building in NP with Suoer Mario written on it.
Or it could be Super Market. I does not know.

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
Why would a Ubisoft franchise make such a direct reference to Mario anyway?

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
The same reason that any franchise would make a reference to any other one, I suppose. I don't see the logic behind it, but it seems to do whatever it is that they want it to.
