Immigration is sort of ruining culture though, at least over here. If a British person visited a Muslim country, he'd be expected to conform to their customs and way of life, yet whenever people from Muslim backgrounds visit the UK the British government seems to bend over backwards to accommodate their 'requirements', in order to avoid accusations of racism and such.
A good friend of mine is registered as Muslim but she and maybe her Iranian parents are free not to practice it eg not wear bhurkas etc, in fact they even celebrate Christmas so she told me. But yeah we do get *that* problem here. Burning a qoran though like that one dumbfuck did in the US is fucking stupid though.
I think we have way too many immigrants here, mainly Eastern European and African [is it me or do the proper African immigrants have some kind of fascination with old VHS recorders, CD stereos and stuff? Whenever we go to boot sales they fill their entire cars with them 0.0]. Not all of them are as bad as natives make them out to be but I shouldn't think there'd be much more room here with a population of over 62 million in such a tiny island.

The guy who said he was going to burn a Qu’ran (or however you spell it) eventually backed down and didn’t burn it at all. I wish he did, just so I could see the fundamentalist Muslims’ reactions. They’re not exactly in a position to complain, since they’ve already killed thousands of us and destroyed some major landmarks, which makes burning a lousy book seem pretty mild by comparison. And it’s not as if no Muslim in history has ever burnt a Bible.

I don't see any problem with burning one to make a statement, however, it was a very stupid statement, because if they own the land (or at least have permission to do something with the land), they should be able to put a mosque on it if they damn well please.
After all, no one gives a rats ass if I build a shed on my own property, or if land is bought to build a Christian Baptist church somewhere.
