The artwork of games and actual sprites were considerably different in R1 era, and a bit different in other games. I actually do not like R1's cover artwork nearby as much as actual sprites for some reason. In other games difference was smaller.
Regarding games' styles, R2 is a leader for me, with R1 just behind, and R3 and RO currently sharing last place; this may change as I will play RO actually.
R2, R1, RO/R3 for me. The RO and R3 looks are essentially the same, except that one of them is 3D and the other is kinda... disturbed to say the least.
I'm probably the only one who now likes the RO look the most. Next is Rayman 1, Rayman 2 and Rayman 3 (weird because R3 and RO are noticeably smiliar )

Really? I see RO and R3 the same but the RO one is cartoony
Tough choice between the R2 and R3 looks. The new Origins Rayman is basically just a 'drawn' version of the R3 style; it's cool but it's not really symbolic of a new Rayman look, in my opinion.

Overall they're basically the same, except one is a drawing.

The only differences between Rayman 3 and RO's Designs (besides the art difference) are the colour of the "strings" from Rayman's hoodie, and the shoes, (RO's looks like a mix between the original and Rayman 3 shoe designs)
