I was lucky enough to get a Robosapien V2 for passing my exams as a kid, it was even a silver version!

Here is the white version of my favourite Robot toy.

I can't fully remember every figure I have from BIONICLE, but I have some like all the Toa Mata (the very first 6 Toas), the 6 Toa Mata Nuva, the Bohrok, the Bohrok-Kal, the Rahkshi, Makuta, Takanuva, Nui-Jaga, Nui-Rama, some Matorans, etc.

I remember that robot, but for the same reasons as Danone I didn't get one. But I was happy anyway with the LEGOs.

Speaking of Lego and robots:

I was lucky my school had a lego club so we could play with these magnificent toys.

I loved the LEGO Technic series, it was so fun to build the robots. Initially BIONICLE belonged to this series but it become so much popular worldwide that it separated from Technic. I remember the robots and their software that could be installed in the computer to program the trajectory of the robots in the floor and avoid obstacles.

Lego Technic, In my opinion, is probably the reason why we ended up with some of the brilliant sets Lego came out with, BIONICLE and EXO-FORCE are two examples which had sets which benefited from the Technic pieces.
Mindstorms, the Lego robotics stuff, like the image I posted before, probably would not have existed if it was not for Lego Technic.

I can actually remember having a fascination with toy swords when I was very young, I think I had loads of them, including a He-man one, and one modelled off of one of the pirates' swords in the disney peter pan movie. I also used to play with bionicle and regular lego a lot.

Childhood toys? Where should I start?

Lets just say that my collection of Pokemon cards and marble is so huge that my parents still complain about the amount of money put into it.

I was a huge fan of Hot Wheels and other cars. This did once result in my mom falling off the stairs because she didn't notice I placed them all on there. I also had garage's, a car wash (Which i'm pretty sure is still around somewhere deep in the junk collection in our actual garage), small buildings, and my favourite: A cit layout to place your buildings collection on. Back in those days half of the collection could only be found in the United States. When my dad brought one back from a travel to New York for his job it would be one of those great and amazing days.

I was #1 Sesame Street fan! Teletubbies, however made me cry sometimes.

Some other merchandise I had was from a theme park that I loved (The one which I send a song from to Rayfan) and I still remain a hardcore fan from it.

Donald Duck was my idol. Magazines, videos, together with Donald on the picture in Disneyland, etc. I am still subscribed to that magazine and buy all the specials. Which is hard, living in the US.

According to my family ''Funniest Home Videos'' and ''Idols'' were shows that I was always pumped for.

I also had simple collection of wooden blocks in all sorts of shapes and colours. Boring? No way! I'd build additional cities with them for my toy cars! Oh boy, the excitement almost makes me want to go and search for them. Would it be embarrassing? :p

I also had the complete collection Dutch ''Pinkeltje'' books which my dad would read to my before going to bed. These stories were fun, exciting, and always made you wonder what would happen next. I also had other small books about these guys and girls in weird shapes that all had a certain ability that would cause trouble and they had to get it all correct again.

i've always been a gamer. at the age of four I was first introduced to PC games (Rayman 2 started why I am on this forum typing this post. It might have been my first game ever.) which I watched my brother play. A few months later me and my brother received our own GameBoy Advance to share. This system is now sitting next to my laptop with Rayman Advance popped into it. This was my very first GBA game.
My dad had an MSX and Sega Mega Drive from his childhood which my brother would play and I would watch. This is how I today can say that I have played original copies of Castlevania, Metal Gear, and even Sonic The Hedgehog.
The GameCube was quickly entering my life as well. When I went to the store to buy it I remember being extremely excited! Super Mario Sunshine became the love of my life, and other games such as Wario World, Luigi's Mansion, and Mario Kart are why I am such a huge Mario fan today (I had a few for my GBA at the time, but I never really came for in any besides Yoshi's Island, in which I was the only one to beat it. ). When Rayman 3 became known in my family I recieved it for-probably my birthday-and didn't just play it. No. I played it again and again and again. It was so much that I would endlessly replay it. This did not include the Knaarens . Scary freaks.

I remember becoming older, getting my first DS and hunting down all the stores being the last one in town to buy the only Wii available in with 30 kilometers, moving to the US, moving from school to school, finding the right home, disliking the schools, saving money for the DSi, watching my first YouTube Poop, jumping up and down from hearing E3 titles, buying the 3DS, joining the forum, and now typing this while still being that little kid that can't wait to get the new Rayman and the new Nintendo console.

Lol, those cars and blocks have got to be the most amazing part of my life. Oh! Almost forgot: I also had lots of Lego's. I was the only one at my school to have Hogwarts completed.

I have the whole 6 of each. I was so proud when I could build the bohroks without the instruction manual.
I have shitloads of lego. Always been a big fan. Even now I pull it out sometimes...

The other thing I used to play with a lot were plastic Dinosaurs. Got heaps of them. I can still remember most of the names I had for them too.
I also had little plastic Pokemon/Digimon/DBZ figures. I always preferred small ones to bigger ones for some reason.

I also had a moment I knew to build some figures of BIONICLE without the need of checking the instructions. I also enjoyed to do my own creations with the pieces of random figures.

That's the beauty of Lego, you don't need instructions to make potential masterpieces.

I rarely even followed the instructions, I usually just wanted the sets for all the cool parts.

One of the exceptions was the Chinese palace, which was just too awesome not to build. Didn't have alot of Bionicle figures though, even though I loved those.

My favourite LEGO theme was always Exo-Force, I always had this thing for mecha, hence the reason why I'm also a Transformers fan too.

Funny, today I changed my bed sheets to this one :



I haven't only the figures, but also this bed sheet, a pair of pants that does not suit me anymore, two t-shirts, a long-sleeved shirt, a board game, etc.

I've never had franchise related bed sheets, my current ones are actually a very simple blue with an image of jeans on.

That reminds me of a funny story: In my school, it must have been when I was in year nine, I found two boxes of two Robosapiens, alerted the teacher, and he has now got a robotics club up and running.

Pokemon got more famous with its videogames but I still keep all of my stuffed animals of Pokemon
