For the seventh time, Pirate-Community is organising a posts in a day record. Here is a short description for those of you who joined recently:
The record was once again beaten last year, with an outstanding total of 18673 messages! The rewards rise to the occasion: each post is worth 15 Tings within the given time span, and then come the bonus Tings: 1500 for participating, 1500 for beating one's previous posts in a day record, and 3000 Tings for the winner. For example, someone once ended up with the staggering amount of 42420 Tings that day.Hunchman801 wrote:Each year since 2006, we organise a posts in a day record at PC. This is not a spam contest, and useless messages are obviously not welcome. However, the special conditions during the record day will be the cause of a certain leniency, especially as concerns old topics, which can be bumped freely.
As for the date, I suggest Saturday July 14th from 0.00 AM to 12.00 PM (GMT+2), which will have to be adjusted depending on your time zone (feel free to post your time zone here if you aren't sure). For instance, it would be from July 13th at 11.00 PM to July 14th at 11.00 PM in the UK.
