Large-eyed fish are fish from the original game with two oversized eyes. They appear in the Caves of Skops, in the last phase of Eat at Joe's. Large-eyed fish are inoffensive and do not interact with anything. They are hardly noticeable, and are fully visible only in the PlayStation version of the game, where the water is transparent. Their function is unclear as they only swim back and forward for a short distance. They may be the signal of a near danger or more probably they serve only as background characters.
