A metal Sparadrap.

A Sparadrap is a breakable object in Rayman 2: The Great Escape, which is used by the Robo-Pirates to keep doors locked in their strongholds, and also as a way of fixing broken pipes. They have been such poor constructors when building their buildings that they may have forgotten how to break them. There are two types of sparadrap - the wooden type, which is less common and can easily be broken by Rayman's shots; and the metal type, which can only be destroyed by throwing kegs at them.

The name 'sparadrap' is the French word for 'plaster', since they resemble plasters and similar bandages.

In Rayman DS, Sparadraps are known as Blockades.
