Oh shoot, it's mojibake! The font isn't the issue here, it's the encoding. I don't do much HTML, but it seems you have to encode the characters using & codes instead of typing them in directly. Here's a list: https://www.w3schools.com/charsets/ref_utf_diacritical.asp

Aha, I had a feeling you could fix it in a meta tag, but I wasn't able to find it with my search. That's a better solution all right!
