I've been thinking in the possibility of creating a RayWiki page that contains scans of press magazines previews/interviews/reviews/news of the Rayman games and translations of each scan that is in other language that isn't English.

Could this be applicated?

Until we can get loads of them I'd stick with the "printed media" category for now.

I could share my scans of Portuguese magazines that I have, but some contribution of other members would be very well welcomed.

Is there any way to upload PDFs to wikis? It would be nice to collect the manuals for all the different versions.

I like your idea Spiral.

I would share my stuff in PDF if that was possible to do in RayWiki, for a better reading.

Yes, we could use the interviews of UbiSoft on Rayman 3.

As for the manual, I think we could use the text and ocasionally scan the pictures.

Yes.

I even have Raymanzone's Magazine scanned by me in PDF. I could share this if the Press Section project would have legs and feet to walk.

I don’t think we should just transcribe every Rayman interview we can find; that’s not what wikis are about. Instead we should continue to take any relevant information from interviews that we can, and add it to whatever pages need it. And we shouldn’t just type up the text from the manuals and scan the pictures; it would take way too much work to scan and separate the dozens of images in each manual and to type up all the text, and we’d lose all the colour, formatting, fonts, arrangements and so on. It would be much better to simply scan the manuals, upload them as PDFs and allow visitors to do whatever they want with them.

I've uploaded them, but I don't know how to link them. The URL is 'my files', so I think anyone that clicks it will go to their files.

I'm a bit late here, but I just wanted to let you know that I don't think uploading scans from every magazine talking about Rayman is a good idea. Official content, such as the manuals (I can't think of anything else) would be welcome though, as long as it's uploaded in PDF. So, do you guys think I should enable this extension?

There are plenty of Rayman manual pdfs on replacementdocs.com, but they all have watermarks on them. However, it seems that the watermarks are not directly edited into the images which comprise the pdfs – when you scroll from one page to the next, the watermarks take a moment to appear. It would be great if we could figure out how to remove those watermarks so we could steal all those manuals. :)

We would look kind of pathetic if people downloaded pdfs from RayWiki only to find ‘replacementdocs.com’ written on each and every page.

I downloaded the pdfs from there some weeks ago, and I even posted the Atari Jaguar's Rayman 1 manual in the Rayman 1 topic.

I also would like to know how to take off those annoying watermarks.

Wait, Spiral smilled?!

PS: I'm joking with you, don't interpret this badly.

Yes, I deliberately juxtaposed the smiley with my declaration to loot replacementdocs.com for pdfs. I never use smileys in a straightforward sense.
