Slimming down plot summaries

I've been working on making the plot summaries for games on RayWiki more summarative and easier to read. I've now done Rayman 3 and Rayman 2, however, Rayman 2 is still pretty heavy on the word count despite the huge chunking down I've done. I was wondering if you folks had any thoughts on the matter? And whether or not we should try slimming down the plot summaries for other games too.

I think it's important to make sure that we don't lose information for the sake of making the plot section easier to read. We are an encyclopedia after all, not a newspaper.

So, if it's just some rewording, it's fine, but if not, we might want to move the original content to a separate section or article?

Would it be possible to include a separate, slimmed-down "Synopsis" section in addition to the more detailed plot, for the people who think the full plot is TL;DR?

That sounds like a good idea. Perhaps we have the slimmed synopsis in the article, and link to the whole thing as a separate sub-article.

Might be a good move. In addition, the main articles would be much easier to navigate if the large bodies of text would be transferred to separate articles (does the source code of RayWiki support sub-articles the same way as some other wikis do?)

We do, though I find it much easier to scroll up and down than to reload a new page every time I want to switch to another section.

Making them easier to read huh? Makes me wonder how long the summaries were back then
