Punching in the air
"Note, however, that if Rayman punches while jumping, his fist will always deal blows at its maximum power (i.e. as if he had a Gold Fist)."
- Are you sure about that? I always thought that a non-golden punch thrown while in the air was at the level of force of a fully-charged fist, not a golden one. I thought it was to compensate for the fact that you can't charge your fist while in the air. Or is there even a difference between a golden fist and a fully-charged white one? —Spiraldoor 16:03, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
Super Punch
In Rayman Legends, at the end of every boss fight, the interface prompts the player to “Hold (attack button) to charge, then release for a super punch” in order to launch the Dark Teensy. While this is mainly referring to Rayman’s charged attack, it says this for every type of character (Globox, the Teensies, and Barbara). While the telescopic fist page already covers this charged attack, I was wondering if I should make this its own page (in a similar vein to the crush attack), and I thought I’d get you guys’ input on it. Any thoughts?
Side note: If I do make its own page for it, I’d change the existing super punch page’s name (which is a redirect to the Flying Punch) to “Super Punch (power-up)”, so as to avoid confusion with the move.

- How is this "super punch" used in regular gameplay, out of those particular sections with the Dark Teensies? Is it any different from the other attacks in terms of either damage or range? Does it work the same in all UbiArt games, and if not, what are the differences? I'm trying to understand how notable it is among the varied range of attacks available in those games to see if it does indeed warrant a whole article. —

- In regular gameplay, the super punch reaches farther than normal attacks, allowing the player to hit targets (i.e. enemies, cages, switches, even players if you want) from a distance; and if the target is an enemy or a player, it also knocks them farther away. It works the same in all UbiArt games (which basically just means Origins and Legends). Specifically in Rayman Legends, a super punch can ignite a Flying Punch, making it fly faster and allowing it to fly through an indefinite amount of enemies and breakable obstacles (a normal Flying Punch can only fly through one enemy or breakable obstacle before disappearing). And as mentioned before, it is the only way to launch the Dark Teensies into the weird red moon that still doesn’t have a name for some reason. So for what it’s worth, I’m still not sure if it deserves its own page or not, but those are the different things that it can do. (Side note: Rayman: The Board Game’s “use extra Slaps to hit targets from a distance” mechanic might be its own form of the super punch, but this remains to be confirmed.) -RayGamer99
