It is used to break open doors that are sealed with metal sparadraps, break open some cages that are right above Rayman but out of his reach, or as a means of airborne transport by setting it alight. Sometimes these roll down hills in places such as the Bayou, making them an obstacle for Rayman, but he can sometimes get a higher jump by jumping on them.
