The real-world influence for this world comes from traditional Spanish themes pertaining to the holiday El Dia de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) and fiestas (parties), as well as Lucha Libre wrestling, as seen in the encounters with the Luchadores. Otherwise, the world features a food/dessert theme, similar to the Infernal Kitchens in Rayman Origins.
