Lum

A Lum is a small body of magical energy which is found in the Rayman games starting from Rayman 2: The Great Escape. Generally, there are six different types of Lums that are determined by colour, though in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc there is the existence of Black Lums. They are mostly seen as small lights that have insect-like wings, though in Rayman M, Lums can also look like crystal balls. The name is derived from the French word 'lumière', which means 'light'. Lums in Rayman Kart look like piles of gold money.
