In Game Boy Color version of Rayman 2, the Super Red Lum gives you a new life. It is also 10x more powerful than the red lum. Although it doesn't heal you like a red lum does, if you lose a life just after you got a Super Red lum, it'll come kind in of handy. You'll need all the life you can get.
