Mosquito in BG&E
Any chance you guys want a better picture of it? I could easily make a hi-quality shot. Spanex 19:30, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
- We need as many hq images as possible. Knock yourself out! --iHeckler9

- Yes, and it would be best for the new picture to show the ‘Aedes Raymanis’ text, just so readers can see it for themselves. —Spiraldoor

- That's going to be a bit difficult. Unless you'll accept a photoshopped image. The quality of the "photo" becomes terrible once you snap it. Spanex 14:16, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
- In that case, never mind the text; a normal in-game screenshot will do. —Spiraldoor

Title
I feel that "Giant mosquito", as stated in the quote from the original game's manual, would be a better title for this article. "Mosquito" could still be a valid, shorter alternate name. This is also reflected in quite a few of the game's localizations. Any thoughts on this? —![]()

- Ah yes, "Moskito, the fearsome giant mosquito".
- I would agree, and I suppose tiny/"normal" mosquitoes exist in the Glade.
- Hey, kinda confirmed by Hoodstormer description. --Boomboleros7 14:08, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
- And there's also marsh mosquitoes, blue mosquitoes, and even the unibrow steppe moskito... It might also make it easier to disambiguate. —

- On the one hand, "the fearsome giant mosquito" feels more like a description of Moskito than a name for the species itself. On the other hand, the Rayman Origins website describes them as "gigantic flying insect[s]," but again, this sounds more like a general description than an official title. I'm not saying I'm against it, but I just don't know if the rename is especially necessary in this case. --Raygamer99 (talk) 18:33, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
- Well, I went ahead with it and made "Mosquito" a disambiguation page, how does that look? —

- Good! I take care of modifications on French side! --Boomboleros7 15:20, 8 November 2025 (UTC)
