Talk:Mechanical Fish
Should we add the boats that appear in Hoodlum Moor and The Bog of Murk? The Hoodlums use them to get around so I'd say it's an improvement to the article. --iHeckler9

- The article is specifically about the vehicles that appear in the Looming Sea, but I short paragraph at the end which describes the other Hoodlum boats would be acceptable. There isn't much to say about them, so they don't deserve an article of their own. This is perhaps the most appropriate place for information on them. —Spiraldoor

I believe it is mentionable that the metal fish submarines used during the Looming Sea sequence can also be found during the Celoche battle as a lone submarine employed from Celoche's mouth at the beginning of the fight. It is the submarine fish that shoots out the missiles from it's hollow underbelly that we all use to destroy Celoche. http://i.imgur.com/0UIymPx.png --Bomber123 (talk) 05:34, 19 April 2015 (CEST)
Paper boat
Didn't Spiral said once that paper boat was a reference of a film? I never saw that specific film so I cannot confirm it. --

- Thanks for that iHeckler. There's a scene in Stephen King's ‘It’ (both the book and the film) which involves a paper boat, but I only made that connection because someone mentioned the boat in Clearleaf Forest shortly I had read the book and I was in a funny mood. It's almost certainly a coincidence, nothing worth mentioning in the article. —Spiraldoor

Mechanical Fish
In the official strategy guide, there is a description and an official name for the metal fish submarines that attack the ship while it sails across the Looming Sea. Should a new section be added to this article or does it deserve its own page? --Elite piranha (talk) 21:51, 29 October 2019 (CET)
- Since there isn't much information on this specific type of watercraft (unless more is stated in the guide?) I think it'd be best to simply add it to this article for now, with a possible redirect here. --

- This article was originally about the mechanical fish, but due to its ambiguous wording, information about wooden boats and even paper boats was added to it. I think it is indeed a good idea to rename it, and then why not re-create a more general "Hoodlum watercraft" article that mentions all those types of boats. —

- In the meanwhile I created a section for each type of watercraft, changed the first line and added a link to create a new page for the Mechanical Fish. Another option could be to add the information of this page to the Hoodlum article (Hoodlum devices section) and leave a short description for each item of the list (as well as a links to the main articles), so it has the same format that can be found in the Robo-Pirate page. --Elite piranha (talk) 06:16, 2 November 2019 (CET)
- I've narrowed down this article to the Mechanical Fish only, moved it to a more fitting title, and I've recreated the Hoodlum watercraft page with your changes, adding Céloche to it. Let me know what you think. —

- Céloche is more like an amphibious vehicle/device (since it can also move on land), however watercraft can also include vehicles like seaplanes or even underwater robots (at least according to Wikipedia), so I see no problems there. The only thing that worries me is that it might be kind of redundant to have a list of devices (in the Hoodlum page) that includes Céloche and also Hoodlum watercraft (that includes Céloche), however since it is a boss in the game, it would be kind of weird to not mention it in the page. --Elite piranha (talk) 01:14, 4 November 2019 (CET)
