About Me
Hey yo, I'm Reese! (Formerly known as Hoodcom on RaymanPC) I'm just a dude who always loved playing video games and making my own characters, such as my main OC Reese Riverson (And many others!). Ever since I was a kid I loved drawing and role playing with my cousin who was around my age which led me to become more creative down the road in life. Honestly my biggest downfalls is having too many interests and hobbies, while also struggling with ADHD ever since I was a little kid. I've always been fascinated with electronics, video games, computers, art, character, story making, drawing, cars, audio, and etc.
Video games are easy for me to talk about, especially when Rayman 3 practically helped introduce me to Rayman Pirate-Community and various other places back in the day that led me to meeting some really amazing friends. During this time period I really loved both Rayman, The Sims (The Sims 2 is still by far my favorite of that series.), Legend of Zelda series, and later the Ratchet and Clank series. Though the next big life changing game to me would be Splatoon 2, that's how I came to meet many other great friends overall. That's the only game I actually came to like playing competitively, but I eventually fell out of that since I wanted to pursue other games of interests. By the time Splatoon 3 came out, I have played it a lot with my friends, and I did get back into it semi-competitively with my old teammates of The Crusty Crew, but that was short lived as most of us had other things in life to deal with. One big game I've been playing a lot of lately has been Final Fantasy 14.
My retro gaming setup and collection is something I do enjoy a lot, especially since I went into a deep rabbit hole in trying to get the best video quality out of those systems with RGB connectivity, especially to use with my OLED HDTV. The guys at My Life in Gaming were quite inspirational for a lot of their RGB content. This in combination with my entire home theater setup which mostly consists of DIY speakers and pro-audio amplification. I owe a great deal in my DIY interests to a good friend I lost in 2016. He always encouraged me to dive into building custom subwoofer enclosures. My home theater system is a 9.1.4 channel setup with Dolby Atmos, currently.
Reese Himself
As for my main character Reese Riverson? He practically is mostly designed around me, with a lot of similarities. Some say he's me, without him actually being me, or being my persona. Either way you call it, I'm quite pleased with his design over all, he even has ADHD like me. While he does have video game interests too, he's more sporty than I ever was. A lot of my artist friends think he's super cute too, so I must be doing something right with his design. Especially since I wanted to do something different from the norm with him, such as his perpetual pregnancy with twins due to an alien abduction (The Sims 2 was my source of inspiration back in the day, since male Sims would get abducted and impregnated) and him having to live his life out like that. Even with his background of dealing with bullies in school making fun of him for it or his ADHD. Quite similar ways to my own life experiences when I was bullied as a kid, I just turned into creative energy. As for his sports interests, he loves skateboarding and street hockey, but for obvious reasons that'd be difficult for him. Support for him from his family and friends helps him the most during his struggles.
His blue fur was just something I wanted different from the norm as well, even as a Ulf (Wolf) humanoid-hybrid of sorts, especially since I love the color blue. It does make it harder for him to wear certain colors of clothes, so black and white colors work best for him. And a fun fact is Reese only wears shorts, he cannot stand long pants. Then some of his favorite video games involve Splatoon and Rayman as well!
Someday I would like to start making my own webcomics of him, I just need to start working on actually getting good at art, myself.
Also I want to give a shoutout to my artist friend Kibi who drew some of the latest pieces of Reese, here is her social media pages: https://twitter.com/Kibiruui • https://bsky.app/profile/kibiruui.bsky.social

My Rayman History
I first became a fan of Rayman when I played Rayman Arena on my brother's Nintendo GameCube at his house, and I wanted to get the game for myself. However the store only had Rayman 3, which is what ended up making me a fan of the series. This was about 2002/2003 when I had bought Rayman 3.
Shortly after that, is when I first joined RaymanZone back in the day, and then shortly after that RaymanPC.

My Stance on the Rabbids
I was disappointed when the first Rayman Raving Rabbids never turned out how they initially advertised it as, but I did think it was an amusing game to play. I'm not a fan of the Rabbids, but I'm not really against them either.
