Ghostly Walkers are enemies that appear in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and its DLC, Rayman in the Phantom Show. They are cloaked, ghost-like Rabbids with the ability to turn invisible while moving.
Appearance
Ghostly Walkers are dressed in ragged teal cloaks and their unkempt turquoise hair is bound with chains. They wear shackles on their arms and can be identified by noticeable holes in their ears.
Abilities
The Ghostly Walker's signature ability is "Ghost Walk", which makes them invisible while they are moving. This renders them immune to reaction attacks from heroes. For offense, they can fire a long-range projectile called "Bogey Beam". If heroes get too close, Ghostly Walkers can use a technique called "Storm Scream", a wave of energy that damages and pushes back all nearby targets with a Gust effect. They are weak to the Frostbite effect, but resistant to Gust.
Tacticam analysis
Will not trigger Hero reaction abilities when moving. Has a Technique that allows it to separate Heroes from cover before attacking.—Tacticam analysis, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
- Weak: Frostbite
- Resistant: Gust
- Attack: Bogey Beam. A medium-range projectile with a flat trajectory.
- Technique: Storm Scream (2-turn cooldown). Inflicts damage and repels all targets within its area of effect.
- Ability: Ghost Walk. Invisible while moving voluntarily, avoiding all possible reactions based on movement.
Memories
Fair is far beyond the battlefield, Rabbid Peach once said. She was not referring to Ghostly Walkers at the time, but might as well have been. They turn invisible while moving, rendering any reflexive reaction abilities worthless. There is one countertactic: Frostbite-charged attacks freeze them in their tracks. But we must be careful – when surrounded, they repel foes with strong gusts of wind.—JEANIE, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
