Raybeard is a deceased pirate whose ghost roams the Glade of Dreams. He is a green ghost who dresses in pirate gear respectively. His hat is black with a golden trim on the edge and has crossbones on the center in front. There's also an earring attached to it. Raybeard also wears a red old time pirate frock coat, similar to those from the 18th century, and a set of buttons on each side. Along with the coat, he also dons a white blouse underneath white neckwear and a brown belt. His shoes are similar to Rayman's adventure outfit, the only difference being is that there is a gold trim around each shoe.

Role in the games

Rayman Adventures

Raybeard was the bravest and most adventurous pirate that ever lived. Some say his ghost still roams the high seas, looking for his lost treasure. He was known to be fearless, except when it came to razors.

  • This is the third Event exclusive costume for Rayman, the other two being Rayphael and Raybolt. This also marks Rayman having the most Event exclusive costumes so far out of all the characters in the game.
  • This costume is inspired off one of the many concepts drawn for Rayman's adventure outfit in Rayman Adventures.
  • In one of the loading screen tips, it states Raybeard and the Captain are very close friends that often exchange treasure maps with each other.
  • Raybeard is the first character to have an event named after them.
