Separate article

Does Rayman Arena really require its own seperate article? Everything on this page could easily be put into a paragraph in the Rayman M article. Spiraldoor 16:45, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

Yes. --iHeckler9 06:13, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Level names

I was re-reading an old cheat boo and it tells you how to unlock characters and levels. I'd never heard of some of these levels before, could someone check if they're real? They are:

  • Extreme Slide (Sounds like Born to Slide)
  • Kurai ('Win Pro League under Freeze Combat')
  • Low Gravity Arena ('Win Pro League under Total Fight')
  • Run, Run (Sounds like Speed Stress)

Thank you in advance. --iHeckler9 06:13, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

I cannot confirm the 2nd and the 3rd levels but the 1st one and 4th one are real. Run Run is like Speed Stress, the first one is a more complete version of Born to Slide. --Haruka 10:24, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Confusion

I don't think it makes much sense to have a "Rayman Arena" article that refers to two rather different things: the PlayStation 2 and PC versions of the game, which are just Rayman M under a different name, and the Xbox and GameCube versions, which are slightly different (though not vastly). Details about the first two should go in the "Rayman M" article, and as for the other two, we could either:

  • Move that information to the "Rayman M" page and make "Rayman Arena" a redirect to "Rayman M".
  • Keep it separate in a page with a more fitting title (like "Rayman Arena (Xbox and GameCube)") and keep "Rayman Arena" as a disambiguation page.

Any thoughts on this? — 16:05, 31 January 2026 (UTC)

I think this is necessary. The Xbox and GameCube versions of Rayman Arena just use the same name, and they shouldn't be in the same entry as the American version of Rayman M called Rayman Arena. Besides, the content about the latter in this entry is already not much, so I think it should be merged into Rayman M. —RayGhoks 03:26, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
I'm for option 2, it's the one that's most consistent with how we've dealt with divergent versions of mainline games (see: Rayman 1 (Atari Jaguar), or Rayman 2's ports like Rayman DS or Rayman 3D). State that the PS2 and PC versions of Rayman M in the US were called Rayman Arena, and that there was an "enhanced" (maybe a term that's not as subjective but to my understanding Arena on Xbox/GCN had some additions) version for Xbox/GCN, that links to a Rayman Area (GCN/Xbox) article. --Master (talk) 17:23, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
I'm also for option 2 for same reasons, this correction makes sense and will be easy to do. "Rayman Arena (Xbox and GameCube)" is perfect for the new title. --Boomboleros7 17:53, 6 February 2026 (UTC)
Perfect, I went for option 2 as recommended by the majority. There will probably be a lot of links to fix, any help with this is welcome! — 17:16, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
