Rayman Legends Beatbox is an app released for iOS, Android and for web browsers on August 23, 2013. It reuses music from the then upcoming game Rayman Legends. The web version has since been removed.

Description

The beatbox app features two different modes for the user to choose between.

Legendary mode

In Legendary mode the user has three songs from Rayman Legends to choose between. The songs are taken from Teensies in Trouble, Fiesta de los Muertos and 20,000 Lums Under the Sea. Each of the three songs are made up of six different samples being played by six characters. The samples exist of things like Bass Guitar and Choir. Each sample can be paused individually.

Creation mode

In Creation mode, the user gets to create their own track out of a selection of available samples. The samples are categorized into drums, strings, melodies, percussion and woodwinds, each with a selection of characters to choose between. The user can add up to six samples, and pause or remove them at their will. When holding the cursor above the removal icon, the character will be shown in their bubblized form. Each sample is set to loop, meaning that the song will be infinite long. The user can record their song between four and forty loops and then share it through a link for others to listen to.
