Lucha Libre Get Away is the seventh level of Fiesta de los Muertos, the third world in Rayman Legends. The heroes in this level must run away from a chasing Luchador.

Description

After getting through two bodies of lava, Rayman and his team find the third Dark Teensy oiling his mechanical vehicle. He spots them and whistles for a large Luchador to crush the heroes. Now the team must escape from the Luchador by running. During the chase, the heroes will face Mariachis, spiky snakes and a few jumping Luchadors from the background. A funnel will serve useful to the players. Eventually, after the team destroys a large pile of bones, the stationary body of lava above will dunk the Luchador into another body below, defeating him. This completes the level.

Invaded

This level is invaded by enemies from Olympus Maximus. It only features the dark creatures from that world. The level also features two Devilbobs.

It is unlocked once the original level finished and if the player(s) get far enough in the world Olympus Maximus.

The exact location of this level in the original one is unknown. It can be inferred that it is somewhere near the place where the chase by the giant Luchador begins.

Several swarms of dark creatures are located in this level. The player(s) are given the Flying Punches by the Elder Teensy at the start line, and may use them to create paths through cake and escape the creatures.

Trivia

  • When there are 4 players (4 or 5 on the Wii U version) on the screen, they are immediately given the Flying Punches before the timer starts up, whereas the players need to do a couple of steps to get those if they are less than 4.
  • At the end of the level, as the Luchador falls into the lava, he gives a thumbs-up. This is a nod to Terminator 2: Judgement Day, where the T-800 cyborg does a similar gesture as it sinks into hot steel.
