The Land of the Livid Dead is a location that features in Rayman Origins, Rayman Jungle Run, Rayman Legends, Rayman Fiesta Run and Rayman Adventures. It is the final and optional world in Rayman Origins, and its environment is located in the Living Dead Party in Rayman Legends.
Description
In stark contrast to its identically named counterpart from Rayman 3, this Land of the Livid Dead is completely subterranean, with many graveyard-like structures which make up the area, in addition to natural rock and poisonous fluids. The area is host to many hazards such as saw blades, Darkroots, flamethrowers and flame projectiles. It is inhabited by tulips, the Livid Dead and skeletal snakes.

The Land of the Livid Dead is an optional world in Rayman Origins, consisting of the levels Don't Trample the Flowers and the Mamma of All Nightmares. It is located under the Snoring Tree, and in order to access it, the players must get all ten Skull Teeth and give them to Mister Death, who guards the entrance in the Snoring Tree. The Land of the Livid Dead is the only level in Rayman Origins to only have one level on the map. The final part, named the Mamma of All Nightmares, has the game's final boss, Big Mama. Once she is defeated, the credits will roll once again.
Beating the level in the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 versions unlocks the hidden trophy/achievement Nothing Lasts Forever.
The first four parts of the world is under the name Don't Trample the Flowers, but the name is only found in the game's files.
The fifth part, named the Mamma of All Nightmares, is where the heroes battle Big Mama.
In Rayman Jungle Run
In Rayman Jungle Run, there are seven levels in the Land of the Livid Dead, one for each pack of levels. To unlock one of these levels, 5 Skull teeth must have been unlocked in the normal levels of the pack, which can only be obtained by collection all 100 Lums. Levels taking place in the Land of the Livid Dead do not contain any Lums. They do however save the player's record time and display it on the level selection screen. Some of these level have multiple paths which can be taken.

In Rayman Fiesta Run, it is known as the Land of the Livid Dead Island.[1] Levels featuring the Land of the Livid Dead behave much like their counterparts from Rayman Jungle Run, where the player merely needs to reach the end of the level in the fastest time possible. These levels are unlocked by accumulating Teensies, which are gained by collecting Lums from normal levels in the game.
In Rayman Adventures
In Rayman Adventures, the Land of the Livid Dead appears during the Marathon Challenges. It was first introduced during the Summer Marathon event and has since appeared in mini-marathons and other events. It reuses several level areas and assets from Rayman Legends as well as uses some other ones from different areas of the game. New here is the appearance of Devilbob enemies, but are they are so far the only enemies to appear in the challenges.
