| Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge is a spin-off "sequel" of Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, and was released only for the Game Boy Advance in 2005. It is the first of Rayman's game to use an isometric dimension. The plot has notable similarities with both the Rayman 2 plot and the Rayman 3 plot. Andre returns and Globox again swallows him, so Rayman and Globox must get him out.
| | ==Gameplay== |
| | | Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge's gameplay uses some elements from Rayman 3, including from the Combo-mode, Teensie cages and Laser Washing Powder cans. The difference is that Lums, namely Yellow, Red, Green and Blue Lums, are collected as well as gems. In each level, there is a certain number of cages and Yellow Lums to collect; the more the player collects and the higher he or she scores, the more likely he or she is to gain up to three Murfy Stamps, which are needed to unlock bonus levels. |
| ==Characters==
| |
| ===Rayman===
| |
| The main protagonist. You play as him in most levels.
| |
| | |
| ===Globox===
| |
| Globox is Rayman's friend who has again swallowed the Dark Lum Lord Andre. You get to play as him in a few levels.
| |
| | |
| ===Murfy===
| |
| Murfy is a knowledgable flying green frog who, as in all Rayman games he appears in, helps you out and gives you hints.
| |
| | |
| ===André===
| |
| André is the main villain of this game and Rayman 3. His spirit, still trapped inside Globox, has reawakened the Hoodlums and wants revenge.
| |
| | |
| ===Reflux Clone===
| |
| In hopes of defeating Rayman, the Hoodlums create a clone of Reflux who Rayman must defeat. | |
|
| |
|
| | In a few levels, Globox is a playable character, though he cannot fight the same way as Rayman, or go near the Hoodlums (because he is afraid of them), unless he drinks a keg of plum juice. Sometimes Rayman and Globox can be played in the same level, though the player will have to switch characters for the right tasks, and the level cannot be exited unless both characters are together at the exit. |
